INTRODUCTION
Muffet Monro is completely self-taught. She was born in Ireland and has taken a close interest in horses and other animals throughout her life. She started painting on china in 1996 when she moved to Devon and has now built up a solid reputation for producing high quality ceramics that are bespoke and individual.
The business mostly specialises in commissions for private clients and some corporate clients. Her clients now include City of London Livery Companies, the Armed Services, E’ON, The Grand National and many private individuals.
The quality of her work is now so good that she has now been mentioned in a number of well known publications including The Telegraph, The Field, Horse and Hound and Country Life.
Recently she has spent more time painting and some of her wildlife paintings are now reproduced as a series of greeting cards.
