Terms & Conditions of Sale
- All work remains the property of Muffet Monro (the Seller) until it is paid for in full by you (the Buyer).
- The Seller always reserves the right to alter prices, specifications and colours at any time without prior notice.
- Descriptions and colours shown in the Seller's sales literature and Website may vary from those on the finished product as it is often not possible to achieve an exact match because of variations in the paints used and in the firing process.
- The Seller will send the Buyer a written Acknowledgement of the Order. The Seller does not hold stock and regrets that Credit cannot be given unless previously agreed in writing.
- Where the Order is lower than £100 in value the Seller will send an Invoice to the Buyer with the Order Acknowledgment. This invoice is for the whole value of Order and the Seller requires payment of the Invoice in full before starting work on the Order. The Order will be despatched to the Buyer as soon as possible and no later than 24 days from the day of receipt of the Buyer's Cheque
- Where the Order is for higher than £100 in value the Seller will again send the Buyer an Acknowledgement and an Invoice for a deposit of 30% of the value of the order. This deposit must be paid by the Buyer before the Seller can start work on the Order and cannot be refunded.
- When the order is ready for despatch the Seller will notify the Buyer and will ask the Buyer to remit the balance of the order value. The Seller will despatch the order as soon as the balance monies are received from the Buyer.
- The Buyer's legal right to cancel and order or return unwanted goods within 7 days does not apply to Muffet Monro's products as all are made especially to order.
- If the Buyer receives the Order and it is found to be damaged or faulty the Seller must be informed within 7 working days of the date of despatch of the Order from the Buyer to the Seller. The Buyer will ask far the broken work to be returned to the Seller at the Seller's expense and a replacement will then be sent to the Buyer as soon as possible also at the sellers expense. It is regretted that claims for damages will only be met if they are received within seven working days of the date of despatch from the Buyers place of work.
- Postage and packing will be charged to the Buyer at £3.50 per parcel for Orders of up to £50 in value. Orders between £5O and £100 will be £7.00 per parcel. These two value categories will normally be despatched to the Buyer by Royal Mail. Orders greater than £100 in value will be £16.00 per parcel and will normally be sent by a National Carrier.
- The Seller will normally ask for payment of the invoice amount by sterling cheque drawn on a UK bank or building society. It is regretted that cheques drawn on foreign banks based outside the UK in sterling or in any other currency cannot be accepted.
- The Seller has a special arrangement with NoChex under which payment may be made with Credit/Debit Cards for amounts not exceeding £100. Please see Payment Options.
